Brett Locker Joins Schley Look & Guthrie LLP

November 1, 2000 (Santa Barbara, CA) -- Schley Look & Guthrie LLP, a business law firm with offices on California's Central Coast, announced that Brett Locker has joined the firm with the title "Of Counsel."

Mr. Locker is in his seventh year of law practice since graduating from Loyola Law School. He is also a graduate of UCLA. He has represented large and small, new- and old-economy business enterprises and has extensive experience with commercial contracts as well as litigation. Prior to joining Schley Look & Guthrie LLP, Mr. Locker practiced with a prominent civil litigation firm, trying cases throughout Central and Southern California, and in a solo capacity, serving commercial clients in Santa Barbara and in Los Angeles. His civic activities previously included pro bono work for the AIDS Project Los Angeles and currently include serving as a trustee on the board of trustees of the Santa Barbara Jewish Federation as well as being a member on the board of the Jewish Community Relations Council, and as a volunteer at McKinley Elementary School in Santa Barbara.
